Science for everyone.
Rules optional.

Biopunk Lab is a hands-on community biology space where curious minds come to build, break, and discover. We believe that access to biotechnology shouldn't be gated by institutions — it belongs to everyone.

From CRISPR experiments to fermentation, synthetic biology to bioinformatics, we're building the tools and community to make biology an open discipline.

We host workshops, open lab nights, and collaborative research projects. If you've ever wanted to do real science outside of a corporate or academic lab, this is where you belong.

What We Stand For

Our ethos.

🧬

Open Science

Research and protocols shared freely. Knowledge belongs to everyone, not just institutions.

🔬

Hands-On Learning

Real bench work with real equipment. Theory only gets you so far — pipette in hand is better.

DIY Ethos

If it’s too expensive, build it. If there’s no protocol, write one. Punk means making a way.

🌐

Community First

A space built by and for curious people. No gatekeeping, no credentials required to start.

Inside the Lab

Real science.
Real people.
